Workplace EV Charging – Finance of £10,000 for up to 20 sockets

  • OLEV contributes up to £10,000 that's £500 each for up to 20 sockets across your workplace sites. The cost of charging a car is tax exempt for employees.
  • Charging an electric vehicle from flat to full typically costs from £4 to £10 and will provide energy for a range of about 200 miles.
  • Charging cost falls further if EV charging utilises green energy from an on site solar PV installation so the payback term is very attractive particularly if vehicles are charged overnight at reduced tariffs.
  • Building solar into car parking bays brings further benefits including significant carbon savings.
